After 15 years as a high school social worker (and yes, that's a lot of adolescents), I transitioned into instructional design and found a second professional calling. Over the past 11 years, I've built a reputation as a creative, collaborative designer who delivers clear, engaging learning experiences across industries from corporate consulting and educational publishing to skilled trades and workforce development.
My social work background shows up in everything I do: I'm solution-focused, unflappable, and skilled at translating complexity into clarity. I work easily with stakeholders across disciplines and find strengths and resources in any problem.
I specialize in designing curriculum and learning content that actually works, for real learners in the real world. I integrate tools like Rise, Articulate Storyline, and even AI where they support clarity and outcomes, but I never lose sight of the learner at the center of the process.
When I’m not building courses, you'll find me in the garden with the dog.
